We Sold our AI startup (500k ARR) — What’s next

Hello everyone, again.

Guess who’s back.

I’m writing from Lisbon right now. Amazing place. I was expecting more sunny days (I wanted to get a tan!), but the reality is that we are constantly having rainy days, windy days, wtf days.

I’m writing this article to announce that my latest startup, Softgen AI, was acquired a couple of weeks ago!

It was almost impossible to imagine that I would have sold this bootstrapped startup, grown from 20k ARR to 500k ARR in 4 months, when I joined it in late Nov 2024.

And we sold it to Arising Ventures. I think they will do an amazing job in scaling it to the next level.

My life has changed since that. I’m officially in the Startup World right now, and the only thing I can do is keep pushing and improving what I’ve done with Softgen.

Indeed…

We’re working on the next AI startup. Will be a Software Humanoid product, and will be revolutionary.
