I quit my full-time job: now bootstrapping a startup

Hello everyone! It has been a long time since my last post here (Oct 24). A lot of things happened in the meantime, and I’m happy to share my updates with you all.

First of all: I quit my full-time job 1 week ago!

As many of you may already know, I’ve been launching side projects for the last 3 years. I managed more than 15 projects while working full-time, and I wanted to make something bigger — my portfolio is here: https://iworkedon.com/@dg

The thought of quitting my full-time job rose in my mind 1/1.5 years ago, and it has been a process, not an irrational decision.

This process was boosted when I met Marko, founder of softgen.ai.

Softgen.ai is my current startup, and it all started with this message (Nov 24):

The state of this project was more or less this one:

• It was a steady project in terms of growth — 2k MRR since Jul/Aug
• It was one of the first AI Full-Stack dev tools in the space
• Marko was pretty alone on this project

Based on my last 3 years of experience, I knew I could add value to this, try to scale it, and try to find a very huge product-market fit.
